Stress is the body’s reaction to a real or perceived threat. Rather than attempting to MANAGE stress by controlling the environment, this training offers a different spin and teaches participants how to embrace stress based on current evidenced-based research.
This one hr training will assist employers and employees to understand the stress response, become aware of triggers and learn how to become empowered and resilient to stress. It is a brief introduction to the Empowerment Model for Stress Resilience.
Participants will walk away with an understanding of the impact of stress through the mind-body connection and will explore tools for becoming more resilient.
The benefit to the work place will be unquestionably positive in that the participants will discover they are responsible for becoming aware of and learn how to resolve stress. A direct payback begins as participants use self-care strategies that result in a lower the number of sick days, lower medical costs, a better attitude and engagement in the workplace.
After this training, participant may want to explore the possibility of attending the six session Empowerment Model for Stress Resilience series and/or utilize the coaching option for stress resilience.
